Clear up some misleading information - Great starter kit
I was looking for a "reasonably priced" copy of the Millennium Falcon for my 4 year old - who has discovered Star Wars in a big way this year. At first, reading the one negative review of this model, I was of course concerned about the quality of the model. I did a quick YouTube search and actually found a kid who had constructed this exact kit and and was very pleased to show off ALL it's attributes. [...]
Contrary to the one poor review, this is a model kit - it is a SnapTite style Revell Star Wars -Millennium Falcon model - meaning there is never any glue required. I took a [small, calculated risk] in buying this kit and was very satisfied.

The price-performance of this model is definitely worth the money and was fun putting it together. I have been assembling model kits for over 35 years - I can honestly say this is an easy build with great looking results. A perfect introduction for young future-modelers - especially with parental guidance for the really young...

Easy kit for a beginner model
I ordered this kit after seeing a low rated review from someone not understanding what it was they actually ordered.
This kit is a plastic scale model kit intended for the beginner modeler.

The kit was well made, with minimal plastic cleanup required from the injection molding process.
The instructions were clear and the parts all snap together easy and intended.

As listed in the description, no glue or paint is required, however, you can use model cement for a more solid assembly, but keep in mind the kit is a static model and not intended to be a toy to play with.

Excellent Toy for a Barbie Lover
My five-year-old daughter loves Barbies (when I say love, I mean they are everywhere in my house), so when I saw this product, I decided it would be perfect for her. I was not disappointed. When she received it, she went into her room, closed her door, and played with it for several hours. In fact, we had to tell her to go to bed because she was up playing with it again.

Educationally, this toy is wonderful in a couple of ways. First of all, pretend play is a must for kids to develop social skills, and by providing a house with people, dogs, ice cream cones, furniture etc..., the manufacturer is providing students with an excellent opportunity to play pretend. Additionally, because the pieces are small (and yes, the pieces are very small. I thought they might be large because when I think megablocks, I think large), they also provide the child with the opportunity to work on fine motor skills.

Different than Traditional Barbie Products- Major Assembly Required
I was surprised when I received this product. My 6 year old daughter recently became infatuated with Barbie products. Over Christmas, we purchased quite a bit of Barbie products and became very familiar with them. Great addition for any Barbie lover
My house has been going through a lego craze this past year, everything from ships to ninja characters to Mario speedways. Most of the lego kits we have found in our area are more boy-oriented. This was a fantastic set for my daughter, who loves playing with legos just as much as my son but is also drawn to all things pink, purple and Barbie.
We've had hours of fun with Barbie's mansion. You can arrange it in several different ways, changing the layout of the house into several different configurations. The instructions are clear and concise. The pieces don't hold together in a permanent fashion, but that doesn't seem any different than any of the other lego sets we've done.
The one issue I had was the age range on the box, 4-7. My daughter is four, and I think she's too young for it. We did fine working together, which is more fun anyway, but in my humble opinion this is a kit for an older kiddo. Some of the pieces are tiny. We're past the toy-in-mouth stage, but...

I ordered these blocks for my twin, 20 month old grandchildren and am glad I did. The kids love building towers and then knocking them over. They are easily stacked and colorful. fun blocks
Blocks are a little big for my 16 months old, but my 3 year old loves them and together the two boys have a blast...expecially the knocking them over part. If you want to make a dinosaur like in the picture, you definitely need the 48 vs. 24. Overall, great rating...very durable.
great, but heavy
These are great if you have an active kid. The only problem is that they are relatively heavy and when they are stacked high and pushed over (like little boys like to do) they hurt really bad if they fall on your feet. These are good, but be sure to have your little one wear shoes when playing with them to prevent injuries.

Best building toy!!!
I can't believe there are no other reviews yet for this toy, it is one of the best block sets we have ever purchased for our kids! My children (boys ages 2 & 4, daughter age 8), all play with these together. Although it is pricey, it is one of our most played with toys. The blocks are easy enough to connect to one another that my 2 year old can do it. They are sturdy enough that the kids have built bridges, chairs and stairs and they can stand/sit/walk on them. They are not so hard that if they throw them at each other (accidentally of course!), they will not get hurt. The foam has a slight give to it, but is very sturdy. My kids have about 100 of these blocks now (combined sets) and they build castles, forts, walls and more. One of our best toy purchases! Great indoor play for the winters. I have never let them take them outdoors.

So Many Possibilities
We bought these for our son when he was 3 after we saw a similar product at our local kids "museum." At first, my son didn't play with them a lot. As he neared 4, they became his new favorite. We even ordered a 2nd set. Every day he watches an episode of Mighty Machines (which I also highly recommend) and builds something he saw (trucks, diggers, car crushers, buses, etc.). He uses sliders (the kind used to move furniture) to get his creations to move and allow him to drive them. He has also built "trees" to reenact The Lorax, a drive thru window, animals, and houses. Even though they are expensive and take up more room than most toys when stored, I highly recommend them. It's so much fun seeing what your child can build! I do want to mention that you have to keep them away from younger children as they can bite off little bits of foam.
PLayful living
The blocks are colorful and light. The color of the blocks do not rub off onto white walls. There is little risk of hurting a child either by falling blocks or falling onto the blocks. The blocks are constructed from little balls of foam material about the size of BB's and they can come apart, which our son enjoy eating those little pieces. After several months the blocks do stack a little looser.

Exeeded My Expectations
I was surprised to see the negative reviews on this product, but after reading them I think most of them were from people that did not read or understand the product description. This is a 'G' scale toy plastic train with plastic track that is battery powered and is controlled by an R/C unit.

I have not seen another 'G' scale set with better quality equipment and features for the price. The engine has built-in sound that makes a steam 'chuff' noise synchronized to the speed of the engine. It also makes a steam brake release noise when it stops. It has a bell sound and whistle that you can control from the R/C unit. It has 3 speeds in both forward and reverse directions. The speeds seems very prototypical. The speed is also momentum controlled - the train speeds up and slows down at a measured pace just like a real train. The detail on the engine is quite good for a 'toy' train.

I had the same experience with the included batteries as others - they barely moved...

Gee,Happy to report,the G Gauge Works!
After my bad experience with the O Gauge I was very hesitant to order another Lionel. But this is something else. With my experience with the O gauge;and since this doesn't need to be on a track to run,I decided to battery up the tender and connect it to the Locomotive and place it on the hard wood floor,figuring that if this works,THEN I'll assemble the tracks and put on the other two cars. I grabbed the remote control pushed the on-off switch to ON and turned the Directional switch to half way forward....nothing happened...then I remembered I'd forgotten to put batteries in the RC. Turned it over and as you could probably guess,when I put in that second battery the train and tender shot forward (The switch was STILL on and the direction STILL to half way forward)LOL. I continued with the assembly of the tracks and the addition of the other two cars. I could see that if you don't have the tracks setup on a hard level surface you're gonna have problems with train disconnects and...
Great for a 3 year old train NUT!!!
My grandson is kookoo for any trains, Thomas, Polar Express, toys, movies, YouTube videos... any trains in any form.

I thought I'd get him a junky train for fun for Christmas. I figured it would last the season. Unfortunately, I picked up a cheapie at ToysRUs for $[...]. Not only did it break after one week, it was pretty cheesy. Cars didn't really hook together, battery hookup from the coal tender to the engine was junky, etc. I don't even know if I'll be able to get credit for the dumb thing since my daughter-in-law inadvertently threw the receipt away. But my grandson was nutty about the thing.

So I started a desparate search last night Dec. 19th, and everyone was out of the junkier trains. I did an extreme internet search and found nothing. By today, just about everyone was out of the better trains too. I finally had success at Target and got the Polar Express Battery Powered train G Scale. My grandson absolutely loves it and it is made so much...

Good Intermediate Robot - Recommended
This Robot is well made. Good Quality. It took us 3 hrs to assemble everything (normal pace). My Son is 6 yrs old and its difficult for him to assemble. Especially the screws and stuff. This Toy states this is for 13 yrs.
Be Careful while attaching Chains on the wheels. They are tricky and has potential to break if not careful enough.

Pros:
Good Quality Parts (Be careful when attaching the chains though)
Teaches how to assemble a Gear box with single and double motors
Teaches how to build a Remote Controller remote
Gives ideas to kids on the internals
Good Instructions

Cons:
Slow movement. I wish the motors could have been a little faster
No Lights. Its a 3-in-1 Robot, one or two red or green lights would have been cool
Some kind of sensors would have been good
Less expansion capability out of the box
No place to stick the battery for Gearbox or Arduino Nano etc (for Normal applications this might be OK)...

Robot Kit Fun
This robot is fun to build and goes together easily. It brought back the pleasure of assembling kits and the kit is well thought out and designed. It also has the potential to be used for constructing other robots, but that is a hacker exercise; it should not be hard to make it into a rc controlled device rather than a wired controlled robot. It would make a good parent/child project. I haven't tested its playability with my grandchild yet, but I suspect it will hold her attention for a while. The main value would be as a good project to do with a child. It requires some patience and attention to detailed instructions. It would go to five stars if it had rc control; it was a close call. I gave it a three stars for durability but it could well be more durable than that; I just haven't given a child an opportunity to test its durability.
Great Project with my Son
Bought this for a project with my 10 year old. His second electronic/robot project...first was robotic arm. He was able to put most of it together himself. Like all of these kits, the instructions can be a bit challeging sometimes...mainly because tiny nuances of parts positions are shown in a picture, but not emphasized...so sometimes you end up wit the flange or screw hole facing the wrong way. If fixing a doorknob is beyond your capabilities...this kit isn't for you. If you are reasonably mechanically inclined, you'll figure it out fine. Best part was when I noticed a few days later that my son had converted robot into to a different vehicle all by himself.

Summary: A few hours of time well spent with your kid results in a robotic toy that teaches them real world examples of engineering and mechanics. Yes..it will break eventually...thats what happens to things your kids play with... but they will remember you building it with them for their entire life.
