Great as a stand alone or addition to any duplo set
I bought this set for my three year old as an add on to the gender neutral big tub set. It's a great addition, but with all the blocks you get, it's a great stand alone set too. Following the directions, you can build a fancy castle, but you are not limited to just that. I looked at other sets, but they seemed to have mostly figures and not many blocks. This has both. My daughter loves building castles and this will get many years of use. She also likes that cinderella's skirt is removable so she can dress up the other Lego figures we have.

Fun for little ones
My 3 year old really enjoyed this as her first Lego. Her older brother puts Legos together all of the time, so it was nice for her to have her own!
The initial set up took less than ten minutes for me, and she's been able to keep it together and take it apart a few times on her own.
My favorite gift for 2 year old girls
I absolutely love this set, and have gifted it to a couple of 2 year olds. The parents tell me all the time that their kid loves this and plays with it every time. I have seen the lego pieces, and they are beautifully done.
I will keep buying these for 2 year olds!
