Awesome set even if you dont know a thing about it.
Back when the first round of batman legos came out 6-7 years ago i couldnt resist getting back into lego. i then found myself doiing the star wars ones too and never bought sets that weren't licensed. Well here i sit today still buying super hero and star wars and couldnt resist when i sw the monster fighters. i got bored one day and grabbed a ninjago, never seeing the show but hearing what it was from my friends kid. i now own 10 ninjago sets. BOW he tells me about the new lego show/movie Chima and i look up the sets. I immediately fell in love with the gator boat. Theres so many cool features and tons of room for mini figs. Its 4 seperate vehicles when u break the big boat down and the mini figs are awesome. I went to the store to just grab this set while i was waiting for arkham and i ended up leaving with this set, eris eagle and then the black interceptor. i gotta do my research on this and watch that hour special because i wanna know what im building and what im about to buy...
The ultimate swamp battle is on. Leonidas and Lennox are making a jet-bike escape with the Croc tribe's CHI, but it takes more than that to outsmart croc prince Cragger. Fire up Cragger's Command Ship and go after them! Activate the huge snapping mouth, swipe the croc tail and fire the CHI-powered missiles! Call in their Raven ally Rawzom to track them from the air or to swoop down from above and catch those CHI-nabbing cats! Then, deploy the stealthy mini boats and high-flying croc helicopter to stop them from ever leaving the swamp. Includes 6 minifigures with assorted weapons.

Buildability: This set's directions were slightly confusing at times, so I would recommend being around to help if you're buying for a child. The brick/price ratio is a little off, but you would not notice it...this set is fairly large and it comes with a detachable helicopter and mini boats. The LEGO creators show their skill with this set; from the shape of Cragger's command ship, to the minifigs, to the articulated tail. Another plus is that this set is made to actually float, although I would be concerned about the drain.

Just as expected
great gift and son loves it. just as expected and instructions are easy to follow. haven't tried to float it yet.
